June 21-24, 2007 are the dates of the Bassmaster Elite Series Sooner Run pro fishing tournament on Grand Lake in NE Oklahoma. The event kicks off at North Beach housing addition just outside of Grove, OK. This is the second year in a row for the Bassmaster Sooner Run to come to Grand Lake. Bassmaster officials were so impressed last year with the lake, the area, and local chamber people’s help they decided to come back again this year. Grove is full of pro fishermen, fish related product vendors, and fans of this huge fishing tournament this week.
Bassmaster has discovered what so many other people have, Grand Lake is a great place to visit, and even better place to live full time, or at least have a second home to visit often. Grove and the Grand Lake area enjoy four moderate seasons with many days throughout the year to enjoy fishing, boating, or other ourdoor activities. It is a great place to own the second home and come and just unwind from the stress of everyday life and work.
