Strong Gain in Existing-Home Sales
For the first time in five years, existing-home sales have increased for four months in a row, NAR says. The monthly increase in July is the largest in 23 years, rising 7.2 percent to an annual rate of 5.24 million units.
The above news release just came to me from the Grand Lake MLS Board on Auguest 26, 2009. It is from the National Association of Realtors. Things are looking up nation wide in real estate and in general. If you have been thinking of a new lake house for retirement or a second home at Grand Lake, now might just be the time to buy.
