You can start to feel fall in the air on Grand Lake in Northeast Oklahoma. The days are getting shorter, tempatures cooler, and fall rains are here. Everything is so pretty and green, the lake is clear and looks better than it has all season. So many people forget the lake after Labor Day but fall is one of my favorite seasons at the lake.

Now is also a great time to enjoy looking for a full time home or a lake second home. Grove, Monkey Island, South Grand Lake areas such as The Coves or The Points offer many fine homes in many price ranges. The area is great for retirement living to the fullest with lake activities at hand, friendly neighbors, great churches and civic clubs, and a nice four season year.

The area is also nice for that weekend getaway. You might like condo living in new Crowne Pointe or The Peninsula developments. Newport Village, Brighton Bay, Shangri La Estates, and Beacon Hill are nice gated communities on Monkey Island with excellent offerings. Individual waterfront homes in the Ketchum/Langley area are nice and you can get more for your money with alittle drive to the Zena area of Grand Lake.
