Grand Lake has three premier golf courses plus two pretty good courses to play. I want to tell you about the premier courses in this blog. We will start with Patricia Island Golf Club located at Patricia Island Estates in Grove, Oklahoma. The Patricia Island golf course is a challenge but also a fun course to play. You will enjoy lake views as you play around the course. People who live on the course or in one of the many beautiful waterfront homes surrounding Patricia Island enjoy life to the fullest. The Peninsula Resort and Golf Club features two championship golf courses for your enjoyment. The Peninsula has announced plans to build a new 4 star hotel on the site of the former Shangri La hotel and conference center. Currently World Mark offers rooms when available at their time share condos. The Peninsula has reported that the new hotel should be open by Spring 2010. There are also nice homes from $175,000 in The Shangri La Estates which front the Blue Course and waterfront homes beginning at $300,000.  On the Gold Course, homes in The Chateaus front the golf course and also have beautiful waterfront views. Homes in The Chateaus start at $500,000 and go to 1.7 million dollars. Both the Estates and Chateaus have security.

At the south end of Grand Lake on Duck Creek you will find The Coves, a 600+ acre gated home subdivision and golf course. This life style addition has golf, swimming pool, tennis, basketball, swings, work out room, library, game room, and guest house. The area has 24 hour security. Homes on the golf course start in the $200,000 range and waterfront homes begin in the $500,000 range to up to two million dollars.
