This is great time to look for a waterfront home on Grand Lake in Northeast Oklahoma. The lake is high from recent floods but is a good time to see where the high water mark is. Our July temperatures have been just wonderful in the high 80’s to a day or two at 90 degrees. Our market is not robust but it is far from dead. Prices are slightly higher than a year ago, sales about same as year ago I would suspect when we see the figures for the Grand Lake area, and we have a limited number of nice homes for sale.

All areas of the vast Grand Lake perimeter offer different things for different folks. I am glad we all don’t like the same thing or we would have a dull world. We offer remote homes with wonderful waterfront in the Zena area such as one listing priced at $450,000 for a log sided home of about 4000 square feet with oversized two car garage and one of the best boat docks I have seen on Grand Lake. The dock is two slip with two additional sea-doo slips and an enclosed fishing room with storage for all the fishing gear.

On Monkey Island we offer a like new home with main lake views but located in a nice wide cove in a gated community. This $350,000 home has a 30 foot boat slip in the Brighton Bay community slips just a short walk down the street. The home has a great deck with hot tub to enjoy and sports a really neat carving of an eagle. Included is a spider b gone system to keep the bugs away.

If a gated community is not your thing, think about my new home with terrific views, three bedroom, two bath, and huge master suite. It has a huge deck out of composite decking for long life and little upkeep, Pella windows and doors, granite counter tops, hardiplank siding, chalet styling, and a dock for $317,500.

In Grove we offer a Patricia Island waterfront with the golf course across the street. This red brick European styled home is listed at $669,000. Included is a nice boat dock, lawn sprinkler, separate entry guest suite plus three bedrooms in the home itself. This home has the most closets of any plan I have seen in a long time and is only 6-7 years old and shows as new.

Apache Shores in Grove has a large Cape Cod style home listed at $1,350,000 with large lot, gated community, terrific views, and all that a home of this price should have in an exclusive gated community.

These are just a few examples. We have or have access on our multi-list to several waterfront homes you might enjoy owning. The communities of The Coves, The Points, Chateaus, St. James Club, Beacon Hill, Buffalo Shores North, Buffalo Shores South, Newport Village, Brighton Bay, or St. Andrews all offer different prices, different styles but all come with wonderful lake homes awaiting you. The more remote, all to yourself areas in Zena or Disney might be to your liking. One of the more overlooked areas might be the north end of the lake with Mazon Shores with a nice near new home with one of the best views I have seen for $215,000.
