Grand Lake Waterfront Homes
Thursday, February 28th, 2013This is one spring in which I would not hold back on looking for a Grand Lake waterfront home if I were in the market at all to buy this year. Our supply of waterfront homes on Grand Lake is still good but not as plentiful as they have been the past 3-4 years. The national real estate market is showing some very good signs of price appreciation in some areas of the country. That has not hit on Grand Lake yet but I will not be surprised to see a higher priced market as the spring and summer markets progress. Tomorrow is March 1, 2013 and already we are seeing some deals on Grand Lake waterfront homes being made. With a shorter supply of waterfront homes and looming price increase possibility this is just a time to get out in front while the weather is still dreary and get that dream weekend lake home bought.
If you have been thinking of a retirement home on Grand Lake I would also not tarry for the same reasons. Our economy is not perfect by a long shot but we are in so much better shape than a few years ago and seemingly headed in a better direction in spite of our political heads of both parties in Washington. Get on with your life and come enjoy a Grand Lake retirement home.
