Homes on Grand Lake

Today, is Tuesday March 9th, 2009. We read everywhere about how bad things are in the economy and I too believe we have problems but also do not believe the bottom is going to drop out of everything. The midwest including Oklahoma did not see home prices go up 20-40% per year for 3-4 years in a row. Like the midwest in general, Grand Lake home prices have increased at modest rates and have held. That being said, you can find a deal sometimes if someone is afraid and just wants out.

In the last week the Grand Lake Team at RE/MAX Grand Lake in Grove, Ok has had two home contracts accepted and we think we will have a third contract accepted before the end of today. Not too bad of a start for the being of our real estate season. We work hard to find just the right place for a buyer’s needs and desires or if listing a home we work hard to present the property in it’s best light on our web and print advertising. Call Aaron Hughes at 918 801-5645 or aaronhughes@remax.net  for email or Joe Neill at 918 640-3300 or jneill@remax.net and whether buying or selling we will work hard to make a deal. Interest rates are at all time lows, property is in general priced right, and now is an excellent time to buy a home if your personal finances are in order.

Grand Lake offers many fine home additions including Grove’s finest golf and lake subdivision, Patricia Island Estates, the tried and proven stately Buffalo Shores North, South, and III, Wildwood Farms, and the newest gated community, The Preserve. On Monkey Island you can choose from Newport Village, Brighton Bay, St. Andrews, Shangri La Estates, The Chateaus, Beacon Hill, White Chappel, St. James Club, Point Marin, or The Villas. As you move toward the South Grand Lake area you have many nice individual home sites along the shores of Grand Lake or can select from two  prestigious gated communities, The Points or The Coves. There is an excellent choice for each family’s needs and desires and price target ranges. Call us today and we will get started with the search for your lake home. It can be a retirement home, full time family home, or a second home on the lake. It will be an investment that will appreciate in value, you can enjoy, and make memories with family and friends.
