Monkey Island on Grand Lake is the favorite place for weekenders to own. Monkey Island is off to itself without any city hussle and bussle but yet only 16 miles into Grove for a trip to Wal Mart or Lowes, go skating, bowling or take in a movie. The Island is quiet and peaceful and most of the homes are in gated communities that do all the upkeep for a monthly homeowner’s association fee. It truly makes a nice setting for the family getaway.
