Real Estate at Grand Lake and Grove, Oklahoma is cranking up for its spring run. March was filled with cold weekends and not many lookers. We did not know if it was economy or weather or both. April has seen improving weather during the second half of the month and much improved traffic to view homes. I showed homes all day Friday and part of Saturday. The rest of Saturday was spent showing development waterfront property. We have one new contract for a waterfront home this weekend, giving us five homes on the closing board for Aaron and Joe. We are pleased with this start.

Prices are steady but you can find a deal at Grand Lake. Interest rates are at all time lows and cannot stay here. If you have money on interest it isn’t paying anything and some are saying why not invest in a second home at the lake or on the golf course and enjoy the investment. Not a bad idea if you think about it. We have an excellent selection of homes with waterview, golf course, or waterfront to select from. Now may be the best time in years to buy that home on Grand Lake.
