The Shangri La Country Club arising is moving right along with perfect weather and a good bunch of workers. The golf course work with new white sand really stands out. The second story of the new clubhouse is nearly framed in and you can start to see just how large the structure is going to be. The Shangri La has been an economic engine for Monkey Island and all of Delaware County for many years. When it’s status was in question, it was missed and felt in numbers of vistors to Monkey Island and Grove, OK. It affected property values and the stores of the area.

It is so wonderful to see the new Shangri La taking place. You can still join the Country Club without an upfront fee, so I would not tarry in joining because this savings will not last. If you are thinking of a family retreat or retirement home take a look at the golf and lake lifestyle offered on Monkey Island. We have several nice subdivisions and gated communities both on the golf course and nearby with something in everyone’s budget.
