This week (March 15-21) has been Spring Break for many on Grand Lake in NE Oklahoma. The weather has been fantastic, stores seem busy, and many second home owners are back to the lake for the first time in awhile. We hear all the economy bad stories but seldom hear anything positive. Well, I don’t want to belittle problems many are having but the best way to help us all if we are in a good position finance and career wise is to go ahead and enjoy life and buy what we want within reason. We don’t need to fluant our good fortune but the way we got out of the 9-11 funk was by consumers spending and going on with life. That is what it is going to take this time also. To keep jobs, factories need orders and businesses need business. If you have been wanting a lake retreat, second home on the lake, home on the golf course with a boat slip, or a lake retirement home now is a great time to buy. You can find some deals and interest rates are at all time lows. Our lakefront homes and lots continue to be excellent investments and an investment you can enjoy while it appreciates in value.
