Spring or is it Winter on Grand Lake in Oklahoma?Saturday, March 28th, 2009
Today is the last Saturday in March, 2009. We had an early summer like spring break for most area schools with temps in the low 80’s two weeks ago. Today, it is back to winter with low 30’s by afternoon and rain, sleet, and snow coming. It’s Oklahoma and who knows what the weather will be. Tomorrow is forecast to be back in 50’s. You know, it is still a grand day on Grand Lake. It is a good day to watch the insane bass fisherman run by 90 to nothing in their bass boats hunting the best spot to catch a fish, or perhaps a good day to have a fire in the fireplace and read a good book. Grand Lake is the place for relaxtion, fun, family time, and enjoying life no matter what the weather is outside.
We have people driving from the Oklahoma City area to relook at golf course and lakefront homes in Patricia Island Estates, Grove’s finest golf and lake community. They are determined to not let the weather slow down their hunt for their Grand Lake Retreat. You too, could be enjoying a second home or retirement home on Grand Lake. If your own economic house is in order, now is a great time to invest in Grand Lake property. Interest rates are low as they go, prices are steady here but still offer great value for the size and quality of home compared to other slumping areas like Florida and California. You can at times find an anxious seller and get a bargain also.
We sell the entire lake at RE/MAX Grand Lake and the Grand Lake Team at RE/MAX Grand Lake would apprecitate the opportunity to be your realtor.
