The old Shangri La Resort and Hotel on Monkey Island has offered luxury weekends and vacations of golf, boating, fine dining, and other lake activities for decades until falling into disrepair under previous owners. Peter Boylan, the new owner of the resort and H. Drake Leddy of Presidian Companies have teamed together to put together a new plan to have a quality conference center, luxury hotel, and a high rise individual owned condo building of concrete and steel with beautiful breath-taking views of Grand Lake from each unit.
This exciting new project plans a groundbreaking in summer of 2007 and complition in 2009. The condo project features 76 condos of various sizes from around 1300 square feet to 4000 square feet, with each unit on one level. The condo building will share an elevator with the new 150 room hotel also planned for the site. You can reserve your right to contract for a condo with a $5,000 refundable fee until the formal signing, unit selection, and contract party to be held late spring. Once the unit goes under full contract a ten percent down payment is made with balance due upon completion of the project and possession of your unit in 2009.
