Many of you think that with the pandema going on that real estate sales have went to a complete standstill, however that is not the case.  While sales are down quite abit for this time of year, there are people out looking for a great priced home in a wonderful location.  Sales are not firesales but you can get deals you would not normally get and you can get the pick of the homes for sale now.  Properties on the market in the NE OK Board of Realtors Grand Lake MLS are down about 25% from what we normally saw over the past ten years. With less properties to choose from it makes now the best time to be out looking. We currently are being very careful when showing homes–don’t ride together to property, stay 6′ or more apart as we look, wear disposable gloves, remove shoes in homes, and carry disposable chlorex wipes to use on door knobs ect.  You can get the best deal possible, low interest rates on housing and the best choice of the season. All that makes for prudent buying.  We also have two homes under contract that the buyers just bought from pictures online.  Not my way to buy but a very safe way.   As the saying goes you found your spouse online why not your home.  Many buyers are buying lake homes to escape the city and to be able to go ahead and enjoy life, escape people while on the lake and in your private large lake home yard.  What a way to make a good deal out of a bad situation
