The Grand Lake and Grove, Oklahoma area of Northeast Oklahoma is a popular retirement area for people from all walks of life and from every area of the country. Retirees like easy shopping, churches, activities, and good health care at hand. Grove and Grand Lake offer all. Grove has many major shopping centers such as Wal Mart Super Center, Lowes Home Improvement, Walgreen Drug plus many quaint shops you will enjoy. The Churches are friendly and look to welcome you as someone who has lived here the past 50 years. The civic clubs offer something for everyone’s interest and you can quickly get involved. I like to do informal surveys when out and see someone I can strike up a conversation with. I ask how long they have lived here and I find about 60% say less than ten years. Grove is truly an easy community to call home and feel right at home. You will find great neighbors here.
